Kieran Tierney (3)

He was wank against Brighton so understandable that he gets dropped. Average ball playing abilities.

I mean, if we’re dropping people for being wank against Brighton we shouldn’t have been able to field a team today.

Very surprised there’s no Tierney. I think he’s done here. Big shame, Arteta doesn’t rate him in the slightest.

Well that was a shit decision to leave him out.

Was it? He was pretty bad when he came on.

Running out of bounds, handing goal kicks to Forest and overall getting schooled by fucking Aurier.

If anything, today showed that he should be going in the summer and we should look to recruit a player that can play instead and not feel out of place.

KT’s career at Arsenal is done here. He was a perfect signing for what Emery wanted to build, but he’s the complete opposite of an Arteta/Pep signing.

I think he’d be excellent at Newcastle, mind.

I couldn’t find him in the players.

fucking hell lads the season only ended today!

Glad he got a great reception (send off) at the end

I mean I moved him a week or two ago :grinning:

Really good, likeable player from start to finish of his Arsenal career, and when he joined exactly what we needed. Whatever his next step is, I wish him and his Tesco carrier bag the absolute best.

We gave him a really good reception when he came round. He was out front so the crowd got the chance to appreciate him. I really hope this isn’t goodbye though. I love this guy.

This is outrageous. I hope the other mods move him back when you’re not looking. Remember he is still an Arsenal player until it is confirmed otherwise on Arsenal.com!

Hopefully we want about 12-15m more than 30m.

Dunno if I’m down with strengthening Newcastle.

You need to sell in the premier league. We’ll just need to accept it.

Unfortunately, it’s something we probably have to get used to.

There’s too much money in this league so if you’re after getting the most money for a player, selling within the PL, and specifically the ā€œricherā€ clubs, will be the way to go in certain occasions.

You also have to factor a player’s preference too. A team like Newcastle might be able to match his current wages, if not give him more.

This has Newcastle written all over it. Let’s just hope we make good money out of it at least.

Newcastle is closer to Glasgow aswell. I’d imagine he is desperate for this move. I hope he joins and smashes it for them personally

Tierney can still smash it with us though IMO. I don’t want to sell. I love Tierney.

Arteta picks center backs over him at LB.

Its over. He’s probably checked out now

I think we’re past that now, the last three matches pretty much confirmed what we’ve suspected before, he isn’t really fitting well in our system anymore.

He can’t be the third centre back, nor can he invert in and join the box midfield.

There’s no point in us wasting an asset like him because he ā€œmayā€ be useful, and he can do better than wait for the odd opportunity be gets to play 10-20 minutes or start the odd game here and there.

Actually think Villa and Emery would be better for him as a player.
