He is not a CF ffs, experiment needs to die

This is the source:

He’s also speculating he could play in midfield.

This could end up a Bergkamp or Vieira-type signing. Really good player before a move to a big club where they’re pretty average, then moves to Arsenal and becomes world class.

I live in hope. Hope that he isn’t taking one of the 2 midfield slots we need to fill and hope that Arteta brings Kai’s international form to his club game like he did with Xhaka.

People need to chill, Bergkamp or Viera?

Obviously I meant another ā€œbig clubā€ and not us. There are big clubs then there’s the biggest and best, Arsenal.

Do you rate Kai in defensive transitions and the defensive third?

Goebbelsblog with the poverty propaganda. Arteta needs to inject some serious drugs into Havertz to get a player out of him.

I’m going to ban someone for using the phrase ā€œGoebbelsblogā€ this summer, I’m sure of it.

Get some fucking perspective.

Talking Goebbelsblog as usual.

I don’t doubt his talent, but never seen him displaying any Bergkamp/Vieira intensity, even playing for the NT.

Hope Arteta can change that.

Kai’s coming!!’

I like the finesse of Havertz, especially the comp of highlights during his spell at Leverkusen but I just don’t know if he has a level of defensive play to maintain the pressure we need at the top?

I think before the season Xhaka just had, I would have liked the new player for that position to be similar to Kai but some of the defensive bits of play Xhaka produced, even being so high up the pitch, were quite critical.

Does Havertz have the engine for it?

Rice and Havertz sorted and it’s not even July. Majority of our business already done, our new starters will join us for a full preseason. And that’s without any sales yet.

Happy days.

IMO, no.

Havertz is the odd man out in the midfield alongside Ode and Rice. Poor balance for big ties against top level opposition.

Moving Partey up to the 8 spot makes more sense than signing Havertz to play there

This just feels like a massive 50/50 to me. Extremely nerdy in the fact that coaches seem to be tickled by some weird body movements of the lad and dreaming up scenarios where he can exploit some patch of the lurch that is plebs don’t see. Coupled with his stint in England being ambiguous and from the eye test, just his profile for this position seems unbalanced as you say.

Sure, the positive is that being in a settled team that has a structure in place and probably receiving some actual coaching now, he could live up to his potential.

I think there’s not enough positives to justify this imo.
