Would throw everything we have for him at CM.
He’s special. He’s gonna be special.
Or get Valverde/Camavinga from RM if they manage to land him. (Not Ceballos I guess lol)

City has always been the side that makes the most sense once you take sentimental considerations like “Boyhood Liverpool supporter” out of the equation (or minimize them as they usually don’t actually count for much).
This line says it all.

Pursuit not off & no firm decisions but sense is #MCFC + #RMFC in stronger position @TheAthleticFCtheathletic.com/4323076/2023/0…
Basically It’s neither on or off and bigger clubs could possibly outbid Liverpool because they’re richer.
Anyone walking in off the street could have written that.
Their fans seem to be all in on him so will be hilarious if they miss out.
Really? Bit cocky given all big teams are after him
Any club that wants to spend their budget on Bellingham is welcome to him, as long as it doesn’t affect us getting Rice and Maddison.
He’s a Liverpool fan isn’t he? Sadly, him trying to be the new Gerrard means this could happen.
So what if they can’t afford him
They’ll make it happen.
This feels way more plausible than Bellingham.
This isn’t a race we should be joining. We’d be better off going for an experienced deep midfielder like Rice and a rising star in the 18-21 age range. Xhaka and Partey will still be getting game time next season. There’s also a rumour that ESR is being trained to play in a more deep role.
Hey Jude, don’t make it bad, don’t go to Chelsea or Man Utd. As I think the Beatles song goes.
Agree, Rice & Caicedo/someone else makes more sense than banking all on one
I’m a big a Rice fan as any but Bellingham is the type if signing that transforms us. Rice is brilliant but not transformative as we have Partey already.
Sign Bellingham and we possibly become the favourites for the league.
Expect him to join Madrid or City though.
Bellingham will be one of the very best midfielders of his era at this current trajectory.
He’s class. This is the wrong comparison as the styles aren’t exactly the same but City without Rodri but with KDB are a more dangerous outfit than City with Rodri but without KDB - DeBruyne is the difference maker for City. Rodri is brilliant though.
Rice is Rodri, Jude is KDB. Again I’m not talking ability or style (Rodri and Rice are similar) just suggesting that Bellingham makes our team a very different proposition.
Wonder if there’s any truth in the rumour of Liverpool dropping out of the running to sign him. Their fans been all in on him for a while now so could get interesting if it doesn’t happen.
I just don’t see why he would go to Liverpool
So Real Madrid it is then.
