FFS - he wasn’t available, he only wanted Madrid once he learned of their interest. To pursue him would have been futile.

Obviously waited for the window to open before they could announce, actually looking forward to seeing him play there. They play such good football, I wonder how he will fare.

The difficulties to beat them and win the league is more difficult than joining Madrid and beat Barcelona (and Atletico).

I thought Madrid had played in the Bernabeu while it was being renovated.
Bellingham, Rice and Foden as a midfield 3 should dominate international football.

I hate to give him credit but wasn’t it Southgate that first used him in a more advanced role and we saw him being involved in the final third more in the World Cup?
More advanced role doesn’t directly translate to the actual tactics of the team.
England’s attacking simply not built around Jude.
Imagine we got this guy as our no 8 ( impossible I know as he wanted Madrid ) but we’d have been a monumental chance to win the league if it was possible
