Joe Willock

£20M+ is fine work imo.

I still have a sneaky feeling Arteta would have kept him if other sales would have worked out.

He will end up like Shelvey. Not really potential but good enough for Newcastle for a few seasons.

Good.

Now move on the other ten players who need to leave.

That’s a good deal, might be worth a punt in fantasy now :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Wahey, good luck Joe. Fair play for making the best of your loan and progressing forward your career.

Can’t complain about that.

Really on there’s a sell on of some kind

I hope we’ve future proofed this transfer.

I can’t pretend to not be disappointed by the fact that Willock didn’t get another chance to stake his claim for a spot in the first eleven.

However, there is some sense to cashing out while his value is high. Willock didn’t fit Arteta’s possession heavy system (nor does Auba tbf). At Newcastle his box runs have a place.

Good luck, Joe. I hope you don’t come back to bite us on the arse.

This is Arsenal we’re talking about. We’ll be celebrating just getting money for once

Good money

Me too.
Of all the players we had to sell, he was no where near the top of the list.
A young, English, goal scoring midfielder, who has just broken Shearer’s record has got to be worth more than 20m.

I’d rather keep good young players, with potential, like him and get rid of high earning dross like Willian, Torreira, Bellerin, Xhaka, Lacazette, Mari, Holding, Kolisinac, Elneny, etc.

That’d be a great fee, credit to him, he made the most out of his loan.

Apparently we’ve only gone and future proofed this muthafucka :eyes:

With a sell on clause ? Well somebody took over Edu while he was on vacation apparently.

Great result but nothing short of what should be expected.

Can’t wait for the payday on the 1% sell on clause - top negotiating by the big man Edu again
