Big hands and Good hands sounds like a Safe combination. I respect it.

Having good #2 is nice and all but is spending circa £28m for the backup the best use of the funds available?

It might be now we’ve seen Neto play.

He was exceptional.

People gonna lose their fucking minds if he is our first summer signing

Bold of you to assume there’ll be anything left in our heads after Liverpool win the title.

A new GK & full-back is almost a certainty this summer

With LW and STs to be signed on deadline day

So that’s £20-30m earmarked for him this summer.

If the rest of the summer business doesn’t live up to expectations then gotta question if that kind of money on a backup gk is the best use of funds.

How much of a ‘warchest’ do you think we need ?

Sounds like £50-60m already set aside for Zubamendi

Need to go big on a striker, and a winger ideally but not convinced we will now and stick with Martinelli/Trossard for the left.

Depends how much this striker is gonna cost; Isak/£100-150m or Sesko/£60-70m (release clause?)

So I reckon around £150-200m to be spent this summer.

Yeah, I think that’s minimum we’ve got to spend

Running it back with Martinelli/Trossard at LW would be painful though, I’m done with that

We need juice in that position too

I think that expenditure has to be without any sales as well. If we sell squad players then more on top to be spent if needing to replace them, eg Kiwior

Has to be in the 150-200m range. We only spent about 90-100 last summer and also brought in about the same from player sales so it’s basically been a full season with minimal outlay.

We need at least one forward but really two, as in one striker and one wide player. Zubi seems all but done and I think a backup GK needs to be signed.

Guys like Zinny will leave. Jorginho likely as well which means we probably need to keep Partey (not that I’m against it anyway as he’s been great this season).

I can’t see us doing more than that so ideally Kiwior needs to stay.

I think that all depends on the off the field stuff going on. Purely on a football basis I don’t think anyone would be against the club handing him a new deal.

It’s funny you say that, I wouldn’t and I’m one of his biggest fans here.
Let’s get the most out of him while he’s here and bid him farewell I say.
