It makes sense from a price POV but I don’t see how it works practically when Garcia has started to stand out in La Liga and Raya potentially has another 5 years being our main keeper.

About to say myself. Unless something going to happen to Raya, this guy is going to give up first team football like that?
Works for us but for him that is quite…a decision.
Raya had a good run tbf but we change our goalkeeper every odd year. The game is the game

We don’t need a new number 1. Cana has a weird obsession with us constantly needing to buy a goalkeeper. He needs told that he’s just the goalkeeper coach and zip it.

Why? Any good backup keeper is gonna cost us 10-15m. Garcia release clause 25m iirc and the article says he can leave for less.
Gonna ‘waste’ 5m to get a proper second option who could become the number 1. I’d be happy with that.
