In the rare instances Iāve seen him lace up for Barca I liked what I saw.
Theyād probably ask too much for him though.

I remember him being highly rated a few years ago. He has played under Emery before for Sevilla. Some quick research tells me that he was on the bench for the 2015 Europa League final.
The transfer fees being mentioned are relatively small. That article suggests that Barcelona would want more than EUR 10m, which we should be able to afford.
Seems like a realistic transfer considering his history, the price and our need for a CM.
Anybody got further insight on his ability / potential etc?
EDIT: Reading a Barca forum and they are being far from complimentary. Some saying he could be a starter for a mid-table team in La Liga, others saying he never realised his potential and his ship has sailed. The majority have given up on him and just want him sold. Hmmmm.
