They easily could afford anyone in reality, but i am sure with the wage figures being bandied about they were thinking this guy is a twat and no fucking way is he gonna be the biggest paypacket in our club by at least 100k a week because that will fuck up our contract talks with KDB etc and then the whole wage structure will get out of hand. Lets face it they are pretty much all mercs at the clubs and deepdown they know that all of the players will want parity or a big upgrade if 1 twat comes in with obscene wages.
