I believe most here are underwhelmed given what other opportunities are present or were present in this market and how affordable they are.

Probably gonna cost around 80m, is it worth it? Buendia for 35m will probably give u similar output and a similar player from overseas would maybe cost 50m or so. Don’t think it’s a shrewd move considering we have a ton of positions that need upgrading. For me it’s just not value for money.

probably end up signing, the issue is he’s probably worth 35-40 and the Foxes will want 70.
Yeah if we could get him for that kind of fee it’s a no brainer but at £70m it starts to become a silly transfer.

Yeah I wouldn’t feel comfortable paying more than 40, I feel at that price if you have proper scouts you can find similar quality at 40.

Outside his injury concerns I feel like this is the type of signing that could bring us back in to the top 4. So while I agree with everyone who thinks an exceptional fee would be worrisome I can’t help but feel like it’s worth at least finding out what kind of deal could be done.
