Israel/Palestine

Probably has something to do with the history Palestinian refugees have of trying to overthrow governments of the countries they seek asylum in.

Combine that with Hamas being an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood which is currently banned in Egypt, Egypt doesn’t want any of that in their country - they have more than enough to deal with on their own plate.

Egypt don’t want any of that smoke.

I’mma be honest, this is not something I am aware of. Any examples?

And yet, our zionist friends - that is supporters of our great middle eastern ally - would have Europe take them in?

Have a look at what the Palestinians did in Jordan and then subsequently Lebanon.

Then have a look at why Kuwait expelled all of the Palestinian refugees took in. Plenty of Palestinians involved (on both sides, in fairness) in the Syrian civil war.

Israel don’t give a fuck about us, I’m sure they’d love it if we took the Palestinians off their hands lol

They probably see our insane immigration laws over the last couple of decades and think we’d be silly enough to do it.

This is a good quick video summarising all instances. It is in their interests to keep Palestinians out.
It’s not just Israel who doesn’t trust a population mainly filled with women & kids. It’s all the surrounding Arab nations.

@Persona in comment section, you will find more instances mentioned as well.

Europe would be wise to learn and not replicate the same mistake.
It’s the responsibility of Arab nations to take care of Palestinians whether they wish to or not

I remember reading somewhere before the IDF went into Gaza that an Arab coalition was being mooted to to “police” (or occupy depending on your viewpoint) Gaza to essentially disarm and police Hamas extremists and prevent IDF bombing of the area.

I remember thinking it sounded like a good idea on paper but its totally unworkable in reality due to obvious self determination issues and because other Arab states don’t want to get bogged down dealing with extremists or suffer an blowback at home.

Fleeing to a country then driving around the capital city armed and stealing from people, for whatever reason, is outrageous. Eeesh.

Maybe if they had their own state, they wouldn’t feel the need to take one.

Just a thought.

Sorry?

I was referring to Palestinian refugees being let into Jordan and then driving around the capital city stealing money from Jordanians to fight the War of Attrition against Israel. That’s just bad manners, whatever the reason.

Trump rejected an Israeli plan to kill Iranian leader, according to a US official

From CNN’s Kristen Holmes

US President Donald Trump rejected a plan by the Israelis to kill Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, one US official told CNN.

Amid ongoing waves of tit-for-tat strikes between Israel and Iran, Trump is publicly and privately making clear his desire to keep the US out of the fray for now, wary of becoming bogged in another Middle East war and highly attuned to the changing politics of his party. But the US is helping to intercept missiles aimed at Israel from Iran.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Fox News’ Bret Baier on Sunday morning that there are “so many false reports of conversations that never happened and I’m not going to get into that” when asked about reports of the plan. A spokesperson for Netanyahu told CNN that the reports of Trump rejecting an Israeli plan are “FAKE.”

CNN has reached out to the White House and National Security Council for comment.

Reuters was first to report the plan.

I feel bad for the section of Palestinian civilians who just want to move on and get on with their lives. However, their lives are so interlinked with PLO & Hamas’s activities that the misbehavior from the militant side gets them deported every few years.

Imagine how many Palestinians would have been living a peaceful lives in Jordan right now if everyone behaved back then.

It’s unworkable because now Israel is not interested in these people existing here.

The Settlers from Brooklyn and Warsaw and Budapest want all that land for themselves.

And if the Arab nations are acting cowardly (it is complicated as Jordan has still taken in millions of Palestinians). They should know, they are next as the Nazio regime will come after them for their Lebensraum.

I feel Erdogan and Al Sharaa know this. I hope they are ready and thinking properly.

The Iranian leadership didn’t and now they are paying the price. In a way, Israel killing all their senior leaders might be good for them in the long run as it gets rid of this old conservatism that has done nothing for them.

Egypt and Jordan are pathetic governments. Egypt more than Jordan who seem to get most of the hate.

Egypt is where most of my disappointment is. They are meant to be the cultural centre of the Arab and Islamic worlds. Al Azhar is there.

However Cairo is a shit hole now where everyone wants to scam you and everyone is poor as the military and elite hoover up any potential the place has.

Egypt and Pakistan - pathetic. Maybe their leaders could get the old Mossad treatment.

America’s ally :arteta:

Such a great ally, making sure none of their neighbours prosper for their supremacist project, which they require your resources to sustain, while you deplete it all allowing your real threat to get the jump on you.

PLAN in Hawaii might wake these fools up.

How long before we see an orchestrated “terror attack” that gives them a reason to go to war. The things being said, make it sound like it’s inevitable.

I get why Egypt are pathetic since it borders and there is a sense of border responsibility but interested and curious to know why you threw Pakistan’s name in there and what they could effectively do to escalate the situation given their own documented problems.

Any help for Iran will come through Pakistan or Afghanistan, so I bet they’re already turning a blind to eye to lots of stuff.

They’re too busy with India to get involved.

I completely forgot that went hot recently

The world is really tittering on the edge lol

At what point do we say we’re living in a world war, because we really aren’t a far from it it all. Scary even saying it but you got

Russia/Ukraine
Isreal/Palestine
Israel/Iran
Donald Trump doing his best to completely derail America.
The Chinese tension with Taiwan.
There’s a load of shit going on in Africa.
Yemen.
The underlying tension between India/Pakistan.
