Tesla back up again yesterday 10%

One stock I am calm about is Tesla :pray:t5:

Hopefully false rally, I didn’t bother to buy any dips recently. Put money on my acc now for Palantir so bring me $12!

You never have to wait too long for a PLTR dip, fucking thing is always swinging low. I’ve heard a few indications that this slump might last all year if history is anything to go by. I’m personally hoping for recovery at this point tbh. Wouldn’t mind getting out of a few of my higher positions in fin tech

Yeh it’s geniunely starting to feel like we’re a month or two away from the bottom and this pain could last for longer than we’re expecting.

Every single rally goes the same way. Not sure what catalyst will save us from this shit

We need inflation to level off and then start tapering off a bit so that growth stocks can get back to being valued better on future earnings

I watched the FED report live the other night and watched my account bounce up before slamming down. Though most analysis I’ve listened to said that the only report on inflation that might act as a catalyst is next month’s. Still not sure myself, I’ve heard other people say in a decade you historically get 2 maybe 3 bad years. Maybe that’s what we’re in right now, the Covid fuelled retail bubble feels popped but then again it might spark up again later in the year.

I’m praying it turns on a dime because these bear markets are boring af. Worst part is I’m locked out of a lot of my money I was trying to swing trade with and I just have to look at PayPal sitting 26% percent down on the day, if I had the liquid I’d be all over that

Facebook down 18% lol

Good morning ,

I am going through a little pickle at the moment.
I usually flip a property every year or two , buy do it up tastefully and hopefully do ok .
At the moment l can find nothing in our rural area that is worth buying and spending money on .
Others factors such as costs rising have made it rather haphazard.

I’ve been thinking of investing in bridging loans .
I’m very uncertain . Companies like Tab , West one do this . They pay anything from 7% to 10% usually 8% to investors . You will be in a Trust .
LVT ( eguity in property , first charge) is important as if it goes tits up hopefully there is enough to pay everyone back.
My concerns is safely passing money over.
Getting money back if lender defaults .
Independent impartial advice is hard to find .

What are your views or advice ?

Nice to see you back.

I have just one question for you.

Have you ever appeared on Homes Under The Hammer?

I am still putting every penny into dips

Because when it goes up and up it will
Go, everyone will buy at higher prices

Of course only
Invest what you can afford to lose

I’ve only seen it a couple of times .
Years back l saw the camera crew at a auction but I’m not regular flipper .

I’m not going to hide my disappoinment. It’s one of my favourite things on tv. Thank you for your time though, I won’t offer you any advice as the only thing I have experience in flipping recently are the delicious turkey burgers I just had for lunch.

@Aussiegooner you’ll be glad to know I did indeed add some sauce to these before I consumed.

Just out of interest do you do the places up yourself?

And are they all in N17?

Very hands on .
I’m not skilled but have people that will do plumbing /electric/lay floors , new kitchens , bathrooms.
I tend to decorate , landscape and make sure all stuff is ready to go.
If you do little the margin is reduced greatly and becomes too tight.
At the moment property has 10 buyers for every house so bargains are nearly impossible in my zone but economic factors are not good and change that . So l feel there is big risk at moment.

I leave that to Tottenham Hotspur Property FC.

Ok I was asking because there’s a great opportunity in Portugal with thousands of derelict properties just waiting to be snapped up and either restored and renovated
