Ian Wright

For fucks sake, these sort of people really get on my tits.

They want the exposure, they want parity with the men’s game financially, if nobody took an interest that would be fucking wrong too.
If its one person that’s not got any sort of bigoted or biased agenda it’s Ian Wright.

Why does gender even come into it, I don’t sit there every game and bemoan the space that female presenters take up on the men’s game.

Ah the Daily Mail. Those bastions of feminism. When it suits them.

Ian Wright is not the bad guy. Ever.

No, he’s black and from a working class background though and the Daily Mail don’t like that sort of thing.

She got plenty of kick back on this one anyway. I read one thing saying ITV were considering removing her from some programmes. Only herself to blame.

Historical side bar - the term “Suffragette” was introduced by the Daily Mail as an insulting twist on “Suffragist” to differentiate women who campaigned violently for the vote from suffragists who believed in a peaceful campaign.

The -ette suffix was meant to make them out to be silly little girls who didn’t deserve the attention they were getting.

Instead the Daily Mail accidently introduced an iconic term in the struggle for the women’s rights that they (obviously) opposed

Eni Eluko is a fucking idiot. Ian Wright is probably the worst example she could have chosen in terms of a male who is of detriment to the female game. Did he not sign an autograph for her or something?

So happy to see him not accept what is a completely empty apology. Beautiful response from him.

Aluko seems to have a pattern of saying something ridiculous then folding like a deckchair and try to walk it back.

I remember her furlough comments suggesting it created an entitled mentality. It must be exhausting to be around her.

And her comments about Arteta, Pep and the Declan Rice transfer saga.

Wrighty must be hurt by her comments, especially given she works with him. Even just watching Wrighty on podcasts and football shows, you know he’s the nicest person, very honest, cares about others and is very respectful. So for someone who has worked with him for sometime now to come out and say that, must really hurt.

Am glad he didn’t accept her apology.

That’s it, mention Ian Wright like that’s his fault too.

Good riddance the piece of work.

For her own sake she should probably call this presenting/punditry role a day.

She spews so much nonsense whenever given the chance and she clearly can’t deal with it when people call her out on it.

Go coach or something and stop taking opportunities from other women.

Way to crash your career. Now she’ll be known as an opportunist that will try to pull others down in order to advance.

good grief stuck on victim status much…this is your doing.

Off you fuck.

God I can’t even stand her face. She’s so annoying.

Other than this #WrightGate nonsense, I feel like I’m numb enough to not know what shenanigans she gets up to to earn her this reputation.

Why is she so controversial?
