Maybe instead of this they just do their fucking job properly. There’s no legitimate excuse to miss this. It’s not a peculiar situation at all.
These clowns can happily review 800 angles at various speeds to determine if a players erection put them offside but they can’t look at one angle and see a clear stamp?
I can see the argument for it being a penalty but similar stuff happens in almost every match on set pieces and it doesn’t get reviewed by this panel and highlighted.
Yep. There is a dishonesty to how this whole thing is done.
But the KMI Panel voted 4:1 that a spot-kick should have been awarded on the field, and 3:2 that it was a missed VAR intervention.
Like who are these cunts? Are they the same 5 people for the whole season or does it change week to week? How come we basically haven’t heard off them most of the rest of the season.
They should do these things completely in the open but of course they don’t.
Funny how we never learn who actually sat on this panel. Doubt it is the same 5 people. But having watched refwatch on Sky, even then it’s mostly subjective, so this KMI panel doesnt even really have to exist, PGMOL can just release whatever numbers they want all season and no one can question the findings.
PGMOL is a farce, they hand pick refs at their discretion for each match (why are their officials not all capable of handling big games?) rather than at random and then they review themselves over the season and have an invisible panel give opinion on individual decisions…
I hope for Amad’s sake that he went down easily there. Because if he really got rag dolled like that by the defender’s grab, he’s the weakest player in the PL.
Still a penalty though, I’m glad Man Utd are complaining. I wish more clubs would because it doesn’t matter who you support, we’re all seeing results that are being influenced by poor decisions.
The more pressure all clubs and fans put on the FA and the EPL, the less they can continue to pretend it’s not a problem.
“Arsenal have had no VAR errors recorded against them this season.”
They said unanimously that Kai should have had a pen on field, which we didnt get - but it wasn’t clear and obvious (spare me) so they can say “no errors recorded against Arsenal”
Genuinely confusing lol surely there is more to this than that? Are they saying that it wasn’t a “clear and obvious error” and therefore it wasn’t a mistake by VAR?
