PGMOL is corrupt… they police the refs, police VAR, select the refs for every game and there is zero accountability to PGMOL regardless of what happens

Adds up. Criminal that none of those three penalty calls were given.

ooft, I need to watch the highlights.

Sounds like it was daylight robbery for NFT to write that tweet, especially seeing what typically happens when clubs/managers make disparaging (read: accurate) comments about what happened.

Watched the highlights. They had 3 penalty shouts, but they weren’t clear cut tbh - however those instances have all been given in the past.

Then again, if those incidents happen anywhere else on the pitch, it’d be called a foul so…

Interesting how AY was involved in all lol.

Wow, I can understand the frustration

First one I wouldn’t give but the next 2 looked pretty straight forward.

Young looking back and appearing surprised that he wasn’t penalised.

Don’t think any of them are Stonewall pens tbh.

Glad you said it, the way they went on I thought they were getting away with two-footers or something.

Which Young does have in his locker.

The Hudson Odoi one should have sent the ref to the monitor. The referee makes the oval gesture with his hands indicating that Young got the ball. That wasn’t the case.

I look at them as 3 fouls offence by a single player and by cumulative effect deserves a yellow. The last one definitely impedes an attack.

They should hand out straight reds for intentionally fouling to stop counter-attacks that are of the severity that today awards a yellow.

the way teams systematically use yellows as one freebie stop-a-counter-attack move is bad for football imo.

no idea how easy it would be to implement ofc, and obv. would have to be communicated ahead and introduced between seasons etc. but would love to see them attempt to implement it.

Confused how forest are denied and cov are awarded one today

But how would Rodri ever play more than 5 matches a season with that rule???

Josep CXV (Pep the 115th for us plebians) definitely has put this into a system more than anyone. Play a possession style sin falta high line, attack with 8 players, and as the natural counter to that is, well, counter-attacking, you just take a few yellows when you occasionally lose the ball in any important game. Spread them out over your squad and you’ll be fine over a season.

Also: agree, Rodri can fuck off more than just about anyone predatorhandshakegif

Is the EPL going to make a comment/statement about Nottingham Forest’s antics from yesterday?? Surprised there’s nothing in the news this morning. :eyes:

Or will they be let off the hook lol…

Second missed red card in two games. Happy it didn’t cost us, but still.
