Wait you’re telling me they’re all mates, no way
More nonsense on the way, it seems.
as i say, this is all done so VAR can be scrapped they know what they are doing. Once VAR goes things will be a lot worse. There is absolutely nothing wrong with VAR it is the scumbags that are pissing about which are the problem. They don’t want anything showing them up and forcing any sort of explanation or accountability.
The way this ref decided to tilt today was very annoying. At one point in the second half every duel in the game resulted in them getting a foul.
Consider that, and then the penalty on Jesus that wasn’t given.
Reminded me very much of that Southampton game. And then the twat decided to give 6 minutes of extra time out of his ass and then let the game go for another 2 minutes, he was on the verge for another one in the end.
Twat.
Now they’re gonna tell Wolves “Here, you see? We’re not biased against you”.
The non penalty on Jesus for the holding of the arm was a disgrace, typical inept English referees.
For what is worth, I don’t think it was a stonewall penalty.
Jesus probably would’ve got on the ball if he wasn’t pulled.
I think because it was Wolves they just wouldn’t dare giving a potentially controversial decision against them.
Stonewall or not it’s a penalty, it would have been paid in Europe or the other top European leagues.
It’s just in England for whatever reason they’re scared to pull the referees up.
Saliba’s yellow was weird as well, a foul sure, but very soft and never a booking.
"They’ll get an apology for the ref confronting them "
Why does he look like Majin Buu. Fucking hell…
Omfg, I cannot unsee this now
Utter shit ref tonight. Never even seen him before, who is he?
He’s new to the league and apparently is well rated in PGMOL circles. No wonder, he’s got all the makings of a cunt as big as any of them.
I think things like that are an utter failing of VAR.
You cant expect the ref to see that on field. No fault there for me.
But VAR looks at it and goes "oh hes seen that and not given it, not a clear and obvious error’ when he absolutely hasn’t.
You show an on field ref that on replay and he gives the pen 10 times out of 10.
Is there a desire to cut that kind of cheating out of the game or not? Because if there is there is only one way to achieve it and it’s to have the man on the field making the decisions.
This is why I think you need to institute some sort of challenge system.
I’m not opposed to it but nah, its not even necessary. Just show the man in charge the relevant incidents and let him make his own calls.
I guess I just don’t trust the VAR to do it on a consistent basis.
For me, the ideal process would be Arteta or Albert signal to the official that they want the corner checked and the official has to go look at it and then explain that there was no foul or that there was insufficient contact for a penalty or that the call is confirmed or whatever.
