Gervinho looked exactly as good in bursts as mhki has done. What both of them lack is consistency.

I do rate Mkhitaryanâs technical ability and directness more so than that of Gervinho. I agree with their form being similar.

I think he does the job well coming in to the game as a sub. Would much rather Ăzilâs creativity (or lack of this season) be considered in the early stages of a game until we give ourselves a reasonable platform to start making tactical changes, like Mesut for Henri for example.
Ideally we upgrade him for someone like Lozano or Paving (Raulâs secret son).

Mhikitayran is twice the player Gervinho was imo, although the bar is exceptionally low.
That statement as a whole may be true. As an Arsenal player, no way.

Never said he was better. Theyâre just of similar style. Technical wide playmakers with low centre of gravity and ability to use both feet(Tomas did love outside of the boot ball tho).

I donât think heâs been nearly as bad for us as you do. Heâs the definition of a patchy player, heâll have 5 matches where he looks great and then 5 where he looks drunk on the pitch, so I completely get the frustration because he pisses me off as well.
I do feel that people tend to ignore when he makes a good impact though. The period of time where we were the most impotent in attack this season was the poor spell in the winter period and he was injured, and when he came back I thought he was potentially our best performer in February and March, maybe aside from Leno. Ultimately we want players with a bit more quality and consistency, but right now we donât have players who are as direct as Mhikitayran in the side and I think we kind of need him at the moment.

If Gervinho figured his game out he wouldâve been some player. He never quite got it but I donât think he was that bad either.
I thought he was pretty shocking for the most part tbh but to be fair a lot of what he did is blurred in my mind at this point.
Michu has more reliable end product than Gerv did I reckon but both are pointless footnotes in AFC. For what Micki earns, the fact that our wings are shit, and he canât earn a reliable place there says it all.

Gervinho post-Arsenal career has been better than the last 3 seasons of cross Mkhitaryan has served up.
This guys career and reputation rests on a wonder season with Borussia Dortmund. At least Gervinho had a good spell at Roma and has had a decent spell at Parma (word to Luca).
