@Trion it’s not that the club can’t offload them. Neither player wants to continue playing in England and the pandemic decimated continental clubs. Fiorentina and/or Torreira’s agent ratfucked the club on the fee and why wouldn’t they try to seeing as our MO recently has been to cave and let guys leave for little or no money.
I’m sure the club could sell them tomorrow if they were willing to accept any price. I think the mistake with Torriera was letting him go on loan to Atletico the summer we bought Partey. That should have been a sale.
