Granit Xhaka

That’s some fine work sir.

If someone could stick Xhaka in the Suez canal I think that’s something we could all enjoy.

Apparently it’s Laca, VC Xhaka then Holding.

Not a looker in the bunch

Fucking disgrace. Xhaka shouldn’t even be playing football for Arsenal let alone assume any type of captaincy role after being rightly stripped.

Man this guy is genuinely as bad as any midfielder I’ve ever seen accrue so many games for Arsenal. I don’t even think I disliked Denikson this much

Fuck this guy. This motherfucker swore at the fans and tried to force his out of the club THIS FUCKING SUMMER. This guy should be following Aubameyang out the fucking door. This has really pissed me off.

Total embarrassment.

He still never apologized.

This guy is my lightning rod for all things bad about the club. If Arteta touches him, bad luck hombre.

This is a really terrible move if sanctioned. Arteta is going to undermine himself with this move.
He’s putting extra scrutiny on himself and his players here at a vital part of the season.
This now also tells us that Xhaka is a first team player again and pressure off on his performances.
Him in and given back the armband makes it harder supporting the team the way his injury did for me.

I doubt he’ll ever make it official. Xhaka will just wear the armband and do all the stuff a captain does.

The bigger issue is what you hit on. Now he’s a guaranteed starter again. That’s way more damaging to the progress of the team.

He was always starting, he was first name on the team sheet for Wenger, Emery and now Arteta. Dude obviously says the right things in training.

I still remember that training clip where he makes a bog standard tackle and Emery busted a nut.

I have no idea why all the managers have never tended to put any onus on his match day performances though. He can be the most brilliant sycophant in training all he wants but when he’s visibly dropping you points at every turn I really don’t understand how at least one of these 3 managers hasn’t seen the light.

Lack of decent options?

Partey isn’t setting the world on fire. Elneny is Elneny. Lokonga is fresh.

He’ll always be important to us when he doesn’t have any competition.

Partey does more than Xhaka does. It hasn’t always worked out but his desire to look forward and try things is something the team misses. He also is a classy player on the ball and I believe has so much more to give the club.

Xhaka is a total hack.

I’ve personally enjoyed the short stint of the Sambi - Partey pivot way more than Xhaka next to anyone. And those two don’t particularly compliment each other very well.

We’re in it now though for the season, I’m hoping he can iron out his silly mistake and form some kind of trust with Partey but I still wish we had went a different route even if that was someone like Neves. Unfortunately I can’t bring myself to expect anything from Xhaka.

Even at his worst Partey offers up so much more to my eyes.

I don’t see how Xhaka is better than Sambi based on their performances
You will get similar performance out of both.
Atleast with Sambi, we can be sure there is a benefit of giving him gametime.
Xhaka is a blackhole

That’s the best joke I’ve heard all week

It’s not even close who the better player is. Partey is far more talented, better to build around and doesn’t put an obvious ceiling on the style of play. It should be a Partey-Sambi pivot going forward but Arteta can’t help himself.

They better not make him captain and a permanent fixture in the side for the remainder of his contract.

I don’t dislike him as much as some, but he needs to be upgraded on if we ever want a shot at becoming a CL club again.

Give or take 5-10 years.

He was shite again. Weakest link in the team, cost us twice too.
But Arteta’s double standards will keep him in the team…
