The attitude that Xhaka has is exactly what is wrong with this club. He is the absolute epitomy of the malaise afflicting us.
Players thinking they are better than they actually are, and believing that the fans / club donât deserve them. Feeling like they should be respected more, blaming everything else around them.
When we get back to having quality players who take responsibility for their own performances and work hard for the team, then we will be back to where Arsenal should be. We have cancers like Xhaka who help proliferate this âwe donât get respectâ attitude that is toxic within the squad.
This cunt is the antithesis of the kind of player I want to see represent our club.
Xhaka playing for Jurgen Klinsmann makes so much sense. A guy whose best attribute is his âtoughnessâ and âhard attitudeâ (except not really because heâs a total paper tiger) playing for a coach who has zero tactical awareness and wants his players to just be super aggressive. They deserve each other. Cannot wait until heâs gone. Definitely the worst transfer pound for pound this club has ever made.
I kind of think Arteta may want Xhaka to stay. Because Arteta was so good positionally, he was defensively sound. He may think he can make Xhaka defensively sound because of this by coaching him on his positioning. Xhaka has potential as a DLP if his tactical awareness can be improved.
I think Xhaka can improve under Arteta but if he wants to leave, is free to do that. I want fully motivated players.
