It’s happening across all of Europe

As sucky as it is

We got to start thinking why that is

There are systemic problems in western societies

How do you know this?

Asheville is located far away from the Atlantic coastline of North Carolina. It doesn’t have a history of hurricanes.

Kidding…not kidding :wright2:

Logic?

Look, I vote green. Mentioned it a few times in here over the years.

But I’m not going to say it’s all our fault. I don’t say it doesn’t play any part.

Once in a blue moon a region less prone to natural disaster can still experience a natural disaster.

The Netherlands has got an earthquake and a tornado once in a few decades.

The earth is a living thing wizzing around in space. Shit is changing and shifting all the time.

And yes, buy a Tesla :kissing_heart:

All to save a shit Israeli PM Israelis don’t even like.

Boden and the DC foreign policy bloc are fucking idiots. Would be great if these pricks would get some consequences for consistently fucking things up?

Western countries really outing themselves as huge bullies and a massive disappointment in this whole crisis.

I don’t know, the Iraq/Afghanistan wars made it pretty blatant.

This is a pretty crazy story. A guy took his 3 kids into the bush for almost 2 weeks and had police etc searching for him. Comes out and gets charged with wasting police time and resources and ends up taking the 3 kids back into the bush where they’ve been for the past 3 years. Sighted for the first time recently.

Is he on the run from the police in general then? What was the point of the first time he did it, do you know?

And is the potential charge going to be that he kidnapped his own kids?

Yeah he is on the run now as he didn’t show for the court date for that previous charge and is now suspected of a few robberies etc too.

He doesn’t actually have legal custody of the kids so it will be a case of kidnapping too.

Blimey.

Sounds like he’s in the right area to stay hidden. If it wasn’t for the tragic situation, I’d say the area sounds quite nice!

It’s crazy that NZ has these sparse areas where no one can find you, I never thought of it like that before.

I basically think of as just this and a load of rugby pitches.

Apparently he is a very experienced bushman and knows the specific area quite well. There are rumours that he is getting help from someone though.

There are quite a lot of these type of areas and it can be quite dangerous if you aren’t experienced as you will generally go out of cell reception pretty quickly.

I think overall the country is like 3% inhabited.

I find it crazy that so many African nations still allow for foreign companies to have control over cultivating their own natural resources.

Greed ruins all.

Isn’t it as simple as corruption? A small group of people get paid very well to make sure multinationals get the contracts?

Absolutely.

Reason why so many of these African countries are nowhere as developed as they should be

Companies such as BP have been milking for decades and leaving waste and ruin behind in the process

Never considered ‘bush’ as NZ - more Australia. So are the dangers equal to Oz? Killer snakes, spiders, etc?
