Your Tory NHS and spineless Royal Colleges have allowed this to become widespread where somebody without a medical degree can see you and ‘sort you out’ (maybe, if you are easy and are a classic this or that, but no such thing as simple patients these days. But more likely miss stuff, add to the 1 GPs workload and cause worse outcomes).
Always looking for short term shortcuts instead of simply incentivising medical staff so they want to work in this hellhole.
Stop trying to make unqualified people do things outside their scope because they are cheaper, now.

Simple fact - you want to make major decisions affecting the health of other human beings - do a medical degree.

Yeah the whole thing is basically a PR stunt. I wouldn’t be surprised if the legal battle was what they were most interested in all along.
I think you might be right. They’ll say they’re trying to punish migrants, but the pesky EU is getting in the way.
The Rwanda plan is a good plan, the UN sends refugees and asylum seekers there and it wasn’t a problem why is now a problem because the U.K. does it?

I don’t recall similar outrage being directed at other countries that do the same. The way people go on about Rwanda you’d think it was hell on earth, I wouldn’t call being transported there a violation of human rights

Rwanda is one of the cleanest countries in the world and nowadays one of the safest too.
I think anyone should be happy to be flown to Rwanda instead of staying in poverty stricken London ghettos

There’s a difference when you are coming as an immigrant, or a refugee, or as a traveller.
These are refugees trying to escape persecution.
Do you think Rwanda is a better place for them compared to the UK?
there are many things wrong with the UK but equality and human rights is something I’d much more expect to be respected than In the UK.
Yes fine though, if you’re a well to do traveller, places like Rwanda and UAE etc. Can be safer to walk around.

The difference is these “refugees” are travelling through multiple other countries, paying a small fortune to get on a rubber boat to cross the channel to get to they UK. Are they then regugees or economic migrants looking to settle in the UK?
I am an immigrant to the UK, so have no issue with migration but I have to ask why these refugees went through multiple countries, were they persecuted in France and whatever other country they passed through or was the UK simply more attractive a destination for other reasons?

You’ll find Rwanda was listed 37th in the safest country list while the U.K. was rated 38th.
Rwanda was also listed as one of the safest places for solo travellers.
Rwanda is one the fastest growing economies in Africa, and at the moment have settlement programs to help refugees and migrants to learn the language, get educational opportunities, as well the means to open businesses
Rwanda has signed to multiple declarations enshrining humans, gay rights etc, which very few African countries have done.
I don’t respect the rights of people that feel it’s ok to break in to my country, these are criminals from the get go. Clearly they made enough money to pay for a boat across the channel, so what was wrong in France??? I don’t get why people are acting like these guys are vulnerable pitiful individuals when they are not.

If Rwanda is so great why are they only sending the migrants that the right wing press most hate there. Seems more like a photo op to me.
