Iāve actually not shared personal views on guns in this thread. They actually are not that hardcore. My arguments are mainly about the politics and practicalities, and what if anything, is realistic as well as helpful. While I do not share the same views as your typical NRA type, I do work with them, know how they think, and have to maintain their trust for the sake of influence, so my thought processes are constrained that way.

Itās not but you can agree that itās incredibly high in dense urban cities and some of those happen to have large population of black people, Chicago is at the extreme end
Iām black so I look at it from a black lens. There so many mass shootings in Chicago and so many black lives lost but little is said on this issue
