I find it interesting that people find this shooting horrendous but are desensitized to the amount of shootings in Chicago. It seems guns seem to only seep into the consciousness during these events.

Look, I think the assault weapons ban is a red herring. There are way way way more people just rocking around with handguns. And I hate sounding like a broken record but once the Supreme Court handed down an insane decision in that DC handgun case we were in deep shit.

Itās funny actually. Now there is talk about the issue and specifics, instead of silliness with a single issue to say āAmerica is f^ckedā and some people evidently think traveling to America is close to going into Afghanistan or something. Itās a big country. Most of the sh*tholes are the big cities that havenāt been run by anyone close to the NRA for well over 70 years now. As @mhappy pointed out, a lot of it is drug and gang related violence, and if you arenāt disrupting gangs like MS-13 you are only increasing the nightmare for people in places like Chicago.

Completely different. For such a small country/island we have a huge range of accents.

We have gang shootings all the time in the U.K., but the only time you hear about shootings is when a police shoots someone, it hardly gets reported on. Just a few weeks ago there was a gang shooting in Brixton McDonaldās how many heard about it?!

Maybe if in a couple of these posts you would of shown some contrition or sadness for the people whose life ended at this school you might have got a better response.
