Obviously but right wing media uses this talking point frequently. It dog whistles to their racist core.
Funny they never bring up “Chicago” unless it’s to increase policing and imprisoning more black people or as a way to deflect whenever a mass shooting happens.
Stroller, I came into this thread and there wasn’t much thought about the victims when I came in here, instead the politics, the usual about keyboard warrioring a bandwagon that always goes nowhere. Don’t play the “you don’t care about the victims” card, you are better than that, I like you. I am no better or worse than anyone here when it comes to that specifically, although I repeat myself, I have actually talked about where I think this will all lead, in terms of more state and local “red flag laws”, which is a lot more than most here in terms of thinking about the problem and practical measures.
I get what you mean, but I don’t think it’s totally unreasonable to ban something completely at once which has potential for further mass homicides in the future.
So watching some reporting from the television from the school today.
How insensitive are these reporter’s out there. Interviewing kids and asking how they felt.
These kids need caring for and made safe right away.
Don’t need too be reliving that moment and being manipulated.
Any thoughts on this @Joshua obviously I’m only seeing snippets.
How do you view this television reporting on this.
