I just assumed the cost was already covered since you guys have socialized healthcare.

I think it’s part covered maybe but you’ve still gotta fork out a substantial amount.

We do have Medicare and a socialised healthcare system though, I’ve got private health also and get slugged a levy for Medicare due to my earnings just.

I must say though I’m a fan of Medicare, for general treatment when sick you need people to able to have it irrespective of wealth.

It’s always the same medical procedure that people have issues with

And that’s the difference I guess between American conservatives and conservatives in other countries.

Our conservatives think if you get sick you should pay for treatment. It’s really very simple. Step one is to stop being poor.

Love the Aussie system.

Jealous. Wish I worked there. Imagine valuing your healthcare staff with actual money and time off instead of meaningless claps?

Pretty sure NDA’s are nothing to do with free speech…
It’s an agreement between two parties that certain things won’t be talked about. When it comes to businesses for instance when, CEO or people close to projects leave a job NDA’s are signed as part of your leaving package to ensure nothing is leaked, CEO’s even go on 6m-1yr garden leave.

I’m terms of criminal/civil proceedings the jury sign NDA’s also; people fill for NDA’s if they believe the person holds some personal information that could be harmful to themselves and would be used maliciously, again this would have to be proven in court with evidence.

It’s funny you want to stand for free speech when it’s against someone you don’t like  bad optics my dude.

And again. So sad.

Appallingly sad. Shames a nation when kids can be killed by a lawfully acquired gun by a dickhead.

Your mistake is thinking that some of these gun rights fucks have any shame.

Nothing is ever gonna be done the nation is too far gone and it’s actually sickenening, literally sickening. In between neglecting my kids to post on OA, my second past time is being worried sick every time I drop them at school that some psycho is gonna show up and kill everyone.

It’s something that I think about all the time, which shows how irrevocably fucked up this country is.

I remember being really optimistic things would shift after Sandy Hook.

Been like 20 years since then it’s absolutely disgusting. Although realistically i dont think a complete gun ban would actually work.

This is insane to hear, no one should have to worry about such things.

US mass shootings in any environment have become so common to read about I get desensitised until I hear someone actually say something personal about them like you guys did now. What (if anything) do you guys (+ @Joshua) think would have to happen for this kind of gun violence to stop?

The U.S. lunacy goes on. And the only thing this latest thing will accomplish is a boost in gun sales. What a fucked up country.

The first thing I heard from a friend was that we need to arm the teachers…

Americans can’t even imagine a scenario where everyone isn’t armed to the teeth.
