Yep. No point in selling him unless we’re raising serious money on him.
Tross is gone, we still need depth on the flanks, even if we get someone like Kvara in.
You aren’t getting someone better than Martinelli for cheap.

I think we’re being short changed if we sold him for 60m - Elanga, Garnacho, Gittens and Madueke are 40-50.
Hope he starts today. One thing about Mar9 is that I never doubt his mentality, just execution at times.
I was in favor of selling him but I think we should keep him as a backup and get a quality LW. He is more than good enough as backup as shown this season. Scored quite a few goals and assists especially in UCL
He’s probably my favourite Arsenal player but his style is wrong.
Surprise, surprise, starts a game and immediately reverts to the norm.
I’d snatch those 60m in an instant. Go do something useful with your career lad, a year or two in Saudi and then back to Europe for a Sevilla or Roma.
Great run by Martinelli. Opens the space for Havertz and Odegaard. Shame about the execution after

This happened 3 or 4 times, surely he is coached on covering the more dangerous player?
I’ve always liked Martinelli and wanted him to succeed here but there’s just too much inconsistency.
From hero to zero and vice versa every week - if PSG are actually interested then just fucking flog him for £60m and be done with it.
It’s really difficult to know if that’s a Martinelli error.
What I will say it that throughout that second half Martinelli was tasked with pressing Guehi and blocking the passing lane to O’Reilly, while Zubimendi was often the guy on O’Reilly.
This above happened about 6 minutes before the goal, and it’s Odegaard and Rice who signal for Martinelli to jump on Guehi. Similarly to the goal, O’Reilly becomes the free man.
So I’m not completely sure that Odegaard is telling Martinelli in the screenshot for the goal to mark O’Reilly. I think he’s expecting the other players behind them to respond in kind by also going man for man. However, the coordinated pressing we saw in the first half was no more. Fatigue? If that was the case, Arteta should have been subbing those players off.
EDIT: This below
I enjoyed the whole analysis he did on the game tbh
If Eze sees that Martinelli run…

Eze still plays a good pass into Odegaard, so it’s not meant as a criticism
He picked up an injury apparently
He’s put up some excellent numbers in Europe this season. Being without him for the semi final is not good news.
Ffs was just thinking it might be time to try him up front if Havertz is out injured.
He should excel against a team like Atletico. Will be a big miss.
One player comes back from injury, three players go out injured. The luck of this club, man.
In a weird, 3D chess kind of way, it keeps the squad fresh. Players are testing.
Madueke on the left versus At Madrid, and tbh, that positional change might be for the best for Noni
