Gabriel Martinelli (11)

would be more like a brown patch, you know, similar to what you find on your boxer shorts.

What a load of rubbish.
What has age got to do with anything?
If you are good enough then with natural ability and talent what does age mean ?
As for a players birth place , Martinelli was born in Brazil ……. and ?
It makes him Brazilian …… fuck me wow !
15 goals isn’t to be sniffed at but if GM gets his act together, as I’ve said countless times , sorry if it offends everyone on here but GM is easily a 20 goal as season player .
He has everything to become that player especially as he comes from Brazil :brazil:

I think it is good that you think Martinelli has the potential to be a 20+ goal winger. I do too. But I think what most of us on here are struggling with, is how super critical you are of the player given his stage of development. He is only 22 and scored 15 goals last season. Our joint top scorer. That’s an excellent season by all accounts. Yes there are things he can improve on, but he is an excellent player already and will get better.

The poll is currently 23-0 BTW :joy:

The value of a player. It has everything to do with how much a player is worth. Age, as in how many years a human has been alive, is therefore important. Because of how much it means a player is priced at.

So if he ā€œgets his act togetherā€ then he’ll be able to score a whopping FIVE more goals? What a transformation. Can’t wait for him to get his act together and score that many more goals, because his output this season was shit.

20 is better than 15 isn’t it ??
Those extra 5 goals could have been the difference between only one point and three so in your logic you are happy with second place . Pity you.

I’ll sign the poll and make it 24 .

Out of genuine interest, why aren’t you this hard on the other players on the team who genuinely let us down this past season? e.g. Ramsdale’s errors to goals, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Ben White, Odegaard & Partey giving the ball way in possession countless times.

Our entire backline were a shambles in the last 3rd of the season.

ā€œOh, Win!ā€

He looked nuts in the training video the club posted. He’s progressing at a scary pace. Reminded me of those clips from his first training sessions with Brazil where he was rinsing players and scoring for fun.

Can’t believe we have both him and Saka. :arteta2:

If there’s an official value for him it has to be 90m+ and not a penny less.

He doesn’t look like a traditional Brazilian wide player to me.
Running up and down all game long, but not having the flashy skills.

Yups, he plays more like an Argentine/Chilean.

Raw South American aggression and I’m here for it.
