He really deserves to be THE lynchpin in our defence. Pepteta should rotate whatever mug he wants next him instead of hooking him in and out of the team so much.
I get that sometimes, different players bring different qualities that might hold an advantage over others when the team is selected. And that’s governed by the opponent in most cases but come on, Gabriel has it all.
Leno, Xhaka, Auba, Saka, (Willian?) are the nailed on starters regardless of opposition. Gabriel should be in this list too.
