Probably only counts when it results in the goal, if it was how many times has he made arsenal fans soil themselves with fear I would imagine it would be way higher.

Fan of Xhaka? No. You can see posts of mine in the past slamming him non-stop. Having said that he has been great since Arteta came in and I’m not gonna deny it because I don’t like his style of play and has pissed me more multiple times in the past.
As for Mustafi, I’ve said it before he’s a very talented player. Same for Luiz. Issue with players like them is that they’re timebombs. He’ll have a good run of 8-10 games and then out of nowhere he’ll wear his clown paint 
, and go out to clown. Coincidentally, since Luiz came they tend to have that clown moment together and once one is done clowining they pass the clown paint to the other. Luiz even has the hair for it…
Having said that, that’s most defenders today unfortunately and I’ll just have to come to terms with it. I think it’s alright to have Mustafi around to be fill in as that mandatory clown all teams have. He can fill in at RB/CB when rotating. Ideally, it would be good if he wasn’t a starter here though.
But why would you extend his contract when you know he is shit in stead of giving another player who might turn out to be shit too, but at least you’d try to get better etc. Not too mention our squad is bloated and we need to get rid of defenders especially. Offering him a renewal doesn’t make sense in any way.

Because he is not shit. He will do some dumb shit at times but that is the norm nowadays. And since Arteta came in it hasn’t been that common anyway.
Just to clarify, I would of course sell if an offer comes but I wouldn’t worry about him that much. He can be useful for us if he stays.
Exactly. Arteta knows what he is doing. That doesn’t mean Mustafi is not shit. Because he clearly is. Arteta just knows how to protect his players better than Wenger/Emery.

More importantly, how the fuck does Mustafi! These stats are a bit of a joke, because you cannot compare the French League with the Premier League. Mustafi would boss the Championship, but doesn’t mean he is a good Premier League defender.

I think it’s been mentioned before that Mustafi had periods where his stats outdid Virgil as well.
I believe in general Virgil doesn’t have impressive stats.
Never use stats purely to judge someone. Never tells the full story.

Well, they compared Tsimikas and Robertson in European competitions. One was playing in Europa League and the other in Champions League. That’s a massive gap in quality.

Agree with that, but “critical errors” is very specifically that player’s weakness…
Its one reason I really hate “rare event” stats like this in a game of 22 players on a field with constant motion… it just leaves out so much f*ing stuff that is super critical to the effectiveness of a player.
