Even yesterday the reality and the truth of the matter was somewhere in between these lines of thought. Arsenal would be an excellent move for him if City are moving on. It might be even better for his career on a personal level than staying at City. And of course, he’d be an excellent addition to our weak firing Arsenal

Darwin is probably one of the best young strikers in world this season though, given his goal scoring form in league and CL. Definitely love having to choose between these 2 then between DCL and Watkins haha.

But we need one more than the other. We know Arsenal…they aren’t going to sign both. That would be too ambitious. One must remember this is a process.
Nunez got a release clause, right? I would love him at Arsenal, but Gabriel Jesus is a baller and cheaper I’d say.
Just googled it, his release clause is 150 million euros fucking hell. If we could get him for around 80 mill though then I would much rather get Darwin then Osimhen.

He’s in the final year of his contract and City will want some money for him. We won’t be spending that much on him at all. Maybe about £40-£50m?

He’s got more goals in this game than in the twenty or so games he’s played in this season.
So does this out of the ordinary performance make him a top level striker or does it show he’s inconsistent?
A performance like this makes him look better than he is because he’s playing at home, with the best players in Europe against one of the worst defences in the PL?
I’ve no doubt, at the right price, he’ll be better than what we have but not as our marquee signing.
