He came on when Everton were chasing. Had room to move around more. Could have done better, but his lack of game time showed. Just needs more tempo which he will get with more game time.
Goals vs Everton last night:
Gyokeres 1
Jesus 0
I’m talking about the overall performance. Bar the penalty, Gyokeres wasn’t particularly good.
I would give credit to O’Brian for the assist rather than all the hard work and creativity Big Vik applied in order to set himself up for his goalscoring opportunity.
Nearly 90 minutes under his belt today. I would like to see him play with Gyokeres at some point.
Enjoyed him again tonight. What a brilliant surprise he has been
Nice to se him back! His game today does however still illustrate our inability to be creative, other then from the wings. We need to unlock our central attack. How? I have no fking clue! But then both Jesus and Gyök will get the goals.
I actually thought he was poor tonight and should have scored but if you can get the chances, that’s the hard part.
Far better than I expected him to return. So I’m happy about that, hope he keeps improving.
Getting 22-23 vibes from Jesus
If only goal were his thing.
Man just can’t get a fucking shot off
I’d start him on Tuesday.
I’m not sure. At least Gyokeres can hold the ball up! I’d personally still keep him on the bench.
I’m not sure he can. He was completely manhandled in the previous Villa game
I think he’s still better than Jesus though.
Trouble is, neither are great options!
@The_Invincibles is to Jesus what @TheArsenal is to Gyokeres.
Gunman Gabriel Jesus
Running around with akimbo shotguns in Favela. Aiming for that Tactical Nuke.
Am I though? But if I was, can you blame me? He isn’t a top striker, plus his injury record is bad, and hasn’t scored many goals for us. All is forgiven if he helps us win the PL or CL this season, but all in favour of moving him on regardless in the summer.
Serious memories.
Terminal was my favourite map though. Venue of my single tactical nuke.
