Gabriel Jesus (9)

He looks absolutely cooked to be honest. The new hair don’t suit him either.

You didn’t watch the last 2 games?
He changed it against Leicester.
Cornrows are gone.

I wonder who was the last player to rock them here and play at a high level. Sagna maybe?

I’m still on the fence. He’s back from a fair share of injuries and needs more games to find his form. But Arteta keeping him on the wing isn’t a good sign.

The Jesus hate is unfair man (not so much on here but heaps of hating online generally), he looked like such a baller when he first got here and he was one of those key guys in taking us to the next level.

I think his time is probably up here at the end of the season though. Would love to see him go out with another PL trophy.

Good thing is that he’s been there before at City, he knows how to make an impact as a peripheral player.
I think he was very impactful in that role in the run-in last season.

He was decent against City and Leicester since coming back but yesterday was definitely not one of his good cameos. Almost nothing came off for him.
I did feel he was more selfish that usual as well, he looked like he was desperately trying to impress, kept trying to score a wonder goal.

Arteta seemed pleased about it in the presser post Leicester(that’s how we scored the 4th goal) so maybe it’s nothing to worry about for now.

The biggest issue with Jesus used to be his finishing, but now it’s not even that.

His selfishness has taken over, he doesn’t pass to players who are in far better positions to score. Unfortunately, the way he’s playing is starting to erode the good he’s done.

I heard that he didn’t celebrate the winning goal vs. Leicester last weekend.

That’s very concerning.

a lot of times we drew conclusion a bit too early…
Martinelli, Trossard, Ode’s injury…

We are just in the beginning of October and there are plenty of games ahead.
Jesus will get his minutes and see what will happen.

His time is up. He struggled to make an impact against the worst team in the league. Time to go our separate ways.

sell asap. Has Willian vibes all over him now.

As a striker he was not what is required but now the other parts of his game that he was able to compensate with (to a degree) have diminished

Never should have run it back with him tbh, internally they have to know he is done here

Lol

Yeah he’s definitely gone in the summer

He was one of our best players in the first half and created three big chances, two for Sterling and one for Havertz.
Mind you that’s still nowhere near the best we’ve seen from Jesus but the crying is so forced.

Fair play to whoever called him Samba Nketiah though, that was funny.

lol, how in any way is this accurate? He was trash just like the rest of them in that first half.

One of our best???

Best player in a dire 1st half lol

Means little

We score those chances(and they were very good chances) he would’ve been on a hat trick of assists mate.

Just stop it now

Off form and rusty but doesn’t seem like we set him up for success in first half.

Didn’t create much

Serious question, what set up should we make it for Jesus?
