I’d obliterate half this loser squad in a heartbeat honestly, no mercy from me. The vast majority of them rile me on a regular basis.

I’d keep Leno, Tierney, Luiz, Torreira, Ceballos (unlikely) Aubameyang, Pepe, Saka and Martinelli.

Many of the ones I’d boot out are functionally extinct anyway, like Mikhtaryan, Elneny and Joel Campbell

ESR seems to be doing well for Huddersfield but he’s lost a good deal in my estimation based on his performances this year, even in the context of this shitshow of a club he looked too timid and lacking in personality to make me feel to comfortable about him having a bright future.

More bothered about who we keep than who we sell.
Won’t lose sleep on any of them being sold as long as the funds go to Arteta to rebuild.
Won’t be happy having Xhaka, Ozil on the books next season though.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Nketiah becomes a better and/or more effective player than Nelson. Keeping Nelson, but getting rid of Eddie doesn’t make any sense.

I agree his poaching is off the charts for such a young age. Every great team can use a tap in merchant. He works really hard for the team too.

I know it’s not a popular choice but I would keep Ozil as well as one of Chambers and Mustafi, only if Arteta can get them playing to level they should be.
Ozil is a class player and our midfield is as bad as I’ve seen so we need real quality.
Who else can do what he does, when’s on form?

Saliba, Holding, Luiz, Sokratis. There is really no reason at all to keep Chambers or Mustafi around.

Chambers can cover multiple positions and I’d rather see him at CB rather than Holding tbh

I don’t really care who we keep, Holding or Chambers. But keeping two out of Holding, Chambers or Mustafi just doesn’t make any sense to me.

If we get around 20m each, or more, for Holding and Mustafi and buy a decent quality CB, I would go for that but Chambers is worth keeping because he is so versatile.
With our defensive injury record, which is probably one of the worst in the PL, we need someone like Chambers who can play CB, FB and DM.
