Friendly matches (behind closed doors)

Looks to be happening today, with the squad having arrived already wearing their playing gear

Gonna be hard to follow this mate with it being behind closed doors

I wonder if the official twitter account will give out live updates.

That empty stadium is gonna take some getting used to. Hope the Highbury mural makes a comeback

Second half of 17/18 I was very used to seeing that cannon in the stands in full :joy:

‘Xhaka in midfield’ :man_facepalming:. If Arsenal can find some money just put it towards Ceballos, Partey or whoever as centre midfielders. Just to get rid of Xhaka,

Agreed .
I watched the highlights and it’s so odd . There was some well taken goals .
The only blessing it’s fucked up The Scousers tittle .

Definitely this.

It’s like it’s unnatural for the Scouse shit to win it.

I think these final games of the season are going to hammer home how little football means without the fans.

Yep fans, raw emotion and atmosphere is undoubtedly a huge factor in making football great.

But as I’ve said numerous times playing behind closed doors is better than nothing, especially with all the strict protocols in place meaning it’s safe to do so and very low risk.

Shame it’ll feel somewhat empty, but it is what it is at this point in time.

Or conversely, how little they’re needed. If broadcasters discover they can have a cgi crowd they can script.

real fans would have something to say about that
