I think it was a fair move by McLaren today as Norris allowed Piastri to have the earlier pit stop to cover off Leclerc (Norris had priority for the pit stops as he was ahead). Given McLaren screwed up his stop I think it was fair that they asked Piastri to allow him back ahead. I don’t think this had anything to do with the engine failure at the last race.

Max is still in this championship, started thinking it after the last race but with piastri’s complete flop today it brings him right back in.

Oscar crying about Lando like he wouldn’t do exactly the same. We’ve seen aggressive moves the other way at the start, was just a good start for once for Lando.

Totally agree. Lando finally getting his elbows out. I think it is going to be a tense end to the season, because the other teams seem to have caught up McLaren, so not sure they will be fighting over who finishes 1st and 2nd at each race. Lando needs to be focused and cut out the small mistakes if he wants this years Drivers Championship.
Love this period of the season where the all coverage is in the evening and a night time race on Sunday because of the time difference

Has Piastri forgotten how to drive ?
I’m not gonna lie…I am concerned about Max’s form. McLaren have won the Constructors Championship easily but the Driver’s Championship is far from concluded. Given they have stopped their development, the two McLaren drivers appear to be behind at each track and vulnerable from the pack. Max is still in the Championship race…if I was a betting man, I’d put some money on Max now!
I hate max but I kind of hope he wins it, would just be too funny.

When will McLaren make the call to prioritise one driver over the other? My guess is Interlagos
I actually have a horrible feeling he could be in with a shout…McLaren are behind at least one of the teams now at every track with their two drivers fighting it out and potentially tripping over each other. I’d hate Max to win it this year!
