Managed to get into the playoffs that season (22/23) and win them, then had an 8th place finish in the Championship in 23/24 - 5pts behind playoffs.
Just finished 24/25 which I got into the playoffs and won them!
Had bottom wage spend in the division, 30% less than the next lowest and 10% of the spend of the top teams 
Bottom sponsorship income too.
My highest earner is on £7k per week and highest transfer purchase is £1.1m, now I’ve got an extra £186k per week and £30m to spend - prem is going to be proper tough though

I’ve finally, for the first time in years acquired a PC capable of running this. I think my last desktop FM was something like FM14. Back then, it used to be possible to download graphics packs to replace the games default images for teams they didn’t have licences for. Is this still the case?

Fm base is the place to go. Either that or fm scout. Face packs, logo packs, trophy packs etc

Today could be the day that FM2024 Beta is released.
I used to binge FM to the point where it would be considered an unhealthy obsession, but I barely touched last years game. Think I only played it the once.
Just noticed they now release it on consoles, but how does it work if you want real face, kit/badge packs on there?
It doesn’t lol. Gotta stick to the basics. That’s why PC is always superior when it comes to FM

I doubt it bete always comes out 2weeks before releases so looking at week of the 23rd October.
FM without any add-ons. Dreadful.
I’m retired, but remember always waiting one or two months after release, before starting a save. Early bugs patched and tons of graphic packs released.

It’s usually 2.5 weeks prior to release but it’s also been 3 weeks and 1.5 weeks over the years. I’m going for 18th or 19th.
@Bl1nk Most of the add-ons like kits, club badges, competition names, facepacks and wonderkids database can be moved from FM23 to FM24 as soon as the beta comes out, it’s just the UI skins that don’t transfer very well. You can now take your saved game from the old to new one too.
