Lads, what is the Mount Rushmore of fruits?

It’s just important it’s as fresh and ogranic as possible.

Was eating some figs from my backyard yesterday and thought it’s heavenly fruit. Very special kind of fruit I’d say, although used to underestimate it as a kid since it grows everyhere here around, in the wild too.

Juicy peaches are brilliant in the summer too. :+1:

Sorry: I realise this post is non politically correct. Feel free to give me a 24 hour time out.

For me the subjectively correct Mt. Rushmore is apples, strawberries, oranges and bananas.
They’re probably the four most popular fruits in the world.

However, objectively watermelon has to be in there for me. Nothing beats crispy cold watermelon. Eating that while thirsty, you’re in heaven.
Then I’ve got pineapple, grapes and peaches.

Plums

Oranges (i reserve the right to include all types)

Bananas

Tomatoes (technicality)

Mango, pineapple, passion fruit and grapefruit.

80s drink Quattro was so close.

Figs don’t get the respect they deserve imo :oncoming_fist:t3:

I would rather start with these lol, I think the one’s you have put in the mt Rush are overrated, except for some kinds of straweberries (if you really find good one’s).

Most apples are trash nowadays, unless you have some special organic supplier lol

I’ve been snob about them till the last year.
They’re pretty good. Same for dried figs.

Oranges, Nectarines, Lemons and Cherries.

If we’re being technical as Sham says, tomatoes are in there, and are number 1 by a mile, but the four above is mine if we just go by what people would commonly consider to be fruits.

Obviously I’d never just munch on a lemon lol, but I love things that taste of lemon.

I feel a bit ashamed about them, because as said, as a kid I was just too used to them because they grow everywhere around here, and never took them seriously. Only realised they are absolutely amazing in recent years.

Not a fan of dried one’s though, they are OK, but fresh one’s are something else.

Also btw, melons, those little yellow one’s, are brilliant. Better than watermelons at times.

Any love for kiwis? Golden kiwis are incredible.

I had a housemate who on two separate occasions cut into a kiwi and released a spider.

I don’t know the mechanics of that, i don’t want to know them, but kiwis can get get to fuck.on account of that.

Why are you trying to scar us too? I’m still trying to get over that viral clip of a spider bursting out of a banana.

I used to eat a ton of kiwis as a kid. Cut the top of and eat it with a spoon like a soft boiled egg.

I’m revising my Rushmore.

Grapes and tomatoes, and any other two.
