Ah in that case, cunts.
This is a joke. Get relegated, avoid punishment.
The Appeal Board’s decision effectively means that, despite the club being a member of the League from Seasons 2019/20 to 2022/23, the League cannot take action against the club for exceeding the relevant PSR threshold in respect of the associated accounting periods.
I feel for the Premier League because so often the punishments they want to implement will just be overturned by shitty appeal courts and stuff like that.
They impose owe a points deduction it gets reduced. They want to punish City they have to contend with years upon years of delays to the process. It’s just bullshit.
Yeah, whatever punishment FA gives to City will be appealed to mere financial penalties, which they would have recovered by using the same fraudulent means to achieve success in the 2020s.
and so what will happen if/when Leicester come back in (hold on, they are back in the EPL now)… so where is the fucking points deduction!?
Really is just setting us up for a Man City win or weak financial settlement.
*The PL.
Having looked at it, it is clear PL is here to blame for not putting effort into drafting a good set of rules.
There are so many loopholes that’s being exploited.
Meh, they’ll take the parachute payments for not being part of the league but dont want to abide by the rules.
Those two things aren’t related but they suit my argument at this time.
