That’s awesome @JakeyBoy . I didn’t even realise you could get an original Game Boy in yellow! I still have the original GB lying around somewhere, but don’t really have many games for it left. Fucking loved Tetris.
Yellow GB master race.

So who’s getting this?
Shame it only has Streets of Rage 2 (yes it’s the best one but I’d love to play 1 and 3 as well) also some other good titles missing.

Amiga 600
When does the PS5 come out?
What I will say is s that looks like pretty good value, they’ve stuffed over forty fucking games into that. I swear the SNES and/or Playstation versions were more like twenty games?
I’m getting a huge dose of 90s fever looking at that list
Mind you, I already have the Sonic games, which made up a majority of my enjoyment on the Genesis lol. But certainly compared to the some of the other retro minis that been launched, this looks like one of the better valued to buy, lot of really good titles in there.
This game was hard as balls.
I would have bought that shit staight away if it also came with Mortal Kombat. Street Fighter 2, Streets of Rage and Golden Axe are mighty temping though.
Sometime In 2020.
That Genesis is nice but I allready have a playstation classic I can play them Sega game on.
Sorry Dave, have to disagree…Football Director on the Spectrum 128, is, was, and always will be the best manager game EVER…
I started with the NES, then SNES, N64 and from there on to PS2 to PS 4 now.
I have very fond memories of Nintendo. Goldeneye in on the n64 I have played to death with my friends. 4 players on one split screen.
I’m not a gamer, but this forum has an active gaming community, so i thought I’d ask for advice.
I’m thinking about buying my nephew a handheld console for his 6th birthday. Really quick and not indepth google search pointed me to Nintendo Switch.
Is this a good choice? Anything more suitable for his age?
Nope.
Switch is the best handheld you could get for anyone, especially for kids
At that age, without a doubt. The only thing that would rival the Switch would be the Steam Deck which is coming soon, it’s essentially a portable gaming PC that allows people to access steams catalogue.
For an adult the steam deck imo would be the better choice but for a 6 year old I really think the Switch is the right move. If he had even been a little older I would say go with the Steam deck as it’s a better gateway machine into gaming but from what I’ve heard from friends that the Switch is really child friendly, and fun for adults too.
Also the Steam deck isn’t available in the UK until October I believe so that would make your mind up for you if you’re looking to do this now.
Think the switch is the best choice for a child games are more suitable, parently settings are spot on and can be controlled via a app on your phone and see how much time their spending on it.
