Yeah I wouldn’t have an issue with that approach personally… I’d also like to make it more work for those 3-4 to get into it. The 4th place trophy joke is ridiculous.

It’s up to the FA how they divvy up the spots but the agreement between the PL and FA is, I’d imagine, pretty explicit about CL places going to the PL.
It’s only possible where the CL winners finish outside the top 4. Otherwise it’s 4 spots.
