EURO 2024

No Hummels is insane for the squad, but I guess it is pretty cemented that Rüdiger and Tah is the go-to CB pairing? Kimmich and Mittelstädt continue as well?

As you say, not having Brandt is also crazy, what has he done to deserve that  I don’t mind starting Kroos in a team where everybody else runs for him, he is still stellar on the ball, but off the ball he’s become a bit of a traffic cone… Müller, Gündogan and Kroos is a bit of a retirement home but 33-34 years of age is less of an issue in NTs I feel, whilst experience is a treasure. On the other hand it is at home turf…

You think Kai will play at 9 all tournament now? Great season behind him and all that.

If experience is gold, why the fuck Nagelsmann pick Koch over Hummels?
Not like Koch or Anton are young like Pavlovic and good for them to take a trip to earn NT experience, right?

Mats is in top fit, and full of experience. This is absurd.

I don’t know what their spare plan is.
Adeyemi is also a player that worth a call over Muller or Pavlovic. We already lost Gnabry, one Sane as speedy winger is not enough. Furich more like a Musiala back up and not a true winger you need on your bench.
So we have a bunch of work horse, dark horse got selected

One thing sure, as you said Kai won’t be midfield anymore, in 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 formation.
There is no midfield place for him.
He has to fight that #9 spot with Fullkrug.

Sane or Wirtz better not get injured, or Nagelsmann will regret not selecting a speedy wide player and a backup CAM.

Had forgotten about Gnabry. Yeah that makes sense that it is between Kai and Fullkrug.

Maybe Nagelsmann just wants to keep up the lovely new trend of early German exits :slightly_smiling_face:

Just thought I’d check the FIFA Rankings, Belgium is top 3 lol. These guys have never done anything yet they’re ranking so highly every year.

England’s time, I’m riding Saka and Rice here.

ITV has the better line-up, no?

Will Lampard and Fabregas be pundits on the same match? My mind is telling me no

BBC by miles for me

for a quick second i thought they were doing one of those charity matches with past players BBC team VS ITV team.

Eni Aluko brings down the ITV line up massively, but they still edge it over BBC.
