Denmark got a good write up in the world soccer Euro 2020 preview. Seems like they are the outsiders bet to do well @Cristo
Nah. I have them finishing second in the group and playing Italy in next round. Think Italy will be a bit too much for them.
Have you got a link to it?
Edit: never mind, just realised itās a magazine @Calum would you be able to take a cheeky pic of the article on your phone?
None of the shops near me carry football mags haha
Help me do my work sweepstake, please
None of my local shops stock it either.
Iām reading the e-magazine version on my phone so canāt take screenshots as its like a book haha.
If you download Zinio you can buy it for £4.99 its a really good guide tbh. Very detailed on each team. Worth the fiver imo
Right but if you had a second phone you could take a picture of the screen.
A pro Denmark article that [redacted]
Italy are going to win.
Oh ok. I have a Readly subscription with hundreds of mags on and you can choose how you read them. Either like I posted or a phone view like you posted.
Havenāt actually read World Soccerās preview, forgot I had access to it. Will read it later. Iām going to be an expert on all these random shit players by next week
Oh wow thatās very detailed bloody hell!!
Thanks so much guys!
As a Dane, weāre just happy to be here
Donāt reduce yourself to Scotlandās level
I guess at least we have some pedigree in the tournament haha
Here for a good time not a long time
God Iām so fucking excited for the Euros now.
Canāt wait to watch football on tv everyday haha
Donāt even give a fuck if itās Finland vs Hungary, Iāll be watching.
Same. Iāve got a wall chart up. Advent calendars and tournament wall charts ā things Iāll never grow out off.
More than England.
Thatās a decent first XI Denmark have there
Yeah itās actually a really strong defence and midfield, itās just our attack that lets us down a bit.
We donāt have a nailed starter for striker or wingers for our attack as most of our forwards are still relatively young players with great potential but who just arenāt quite there yet. We really need someone like Wind, Dolberg or Skov Olsen to have a āspecialā tournament really, otherwise our attack might be a bit toothless.
The only nailed starter up front we have is Poulsen from RB Leipzig (club legend there) and he does get the occasional goal but heās in that Welbeck mould where he has great stamina, does a lot of defensive work and running etc. We usually stick him on the right wing to help shore up the flank in games against big teams.
