A man whoâs never had a standout tournament is apparently the greatest Euros player ever. After a dog shit group stage, he scored a couple knockout games and was injured in the final.
CR7 has never had a great international tournament. His figures are inflated with qualifier goals. But in the competition his goal record is shit.

Platini 84. Tournament player and worlds best player at that time.
France performances in that tournament were outstanding apart from the final. Platini was key to everything.
Performance in a group game against the best defensive side around then Belgium was superb in a 5 0 win.
