You don’t need to remind me of Reyes’ quality, if that was the intention.
I’m just surprised he’s THAT high on the list, third behind only KDB and Palmer regarding assists per 90, if I’m reading the graphics correctly.
No doubt he’s one of the biggest Arsenal’s “what if-s” ever.
Going back to him, I’m literally always a bit confused with the fact he was only 22 when he left us. Left quite a mark on us by that time, and was quite a polished player already. Didn’t need too much to improve to reach a really really high level (world class).
RIP
I’m not usually a one to comment on looks because I’m no model, but this guy is such an ugly cunt. Imagine waking up with sleep paralysis and seeing Haaland looming over you
I hate going there cause it’s quite low, but if there’s any player I wouldn’t have a shred of sympathy for if their ankle snapped and they could never play the game they love again, it would be this ugly fucking cunt.
Yeah he’s definitely up there. I actually think he’ll probably have a shorter career at the top level. He’s such a big guy that I can see his body breaking down.
Plus, none of his achievements mean anything. His club career with City is one huge asterisk and he’ll never win anything with Norway. He can go guard a bridge somewhere in a Norwegian swamp like he was meant to do.
He was a proper dickhead but no one can downplay how much of incredible footballer he is, style is lovely but end of the day production is the name of the game in that position.
He will go down as one of the greatest if not greatest pure goalscorer of all time
100 goals in 100 appearances? More goals than games? That’s not even remotely normal it’s otherworldly
Also the fact that he can do that whilst taking the limited amount of touches he does shows how special he is.
His goal was very good tbf, from the movement to the calm finish with the outside of his foot.
I do think think he’s leaving a lot on the table by not trying his luck from distance more(if at all really, struggle to remember him eve shooting from distance).
He’s got a venomous shot in him. There were plenty of openings for him to try that. Almost all of their players had a crack from distance in that second half.
