When was the first or is it astoundingly obvious haha

Losing to them to keep them up

We sold them cry baby Emi, he then advocated Buendia join Villa and we stood by like gentlemen while small clubs did their business without us turning the players head.

One Grealish please.

Our transfers drag out because we’re stupid.

Maybe Odegaard is the answer but I think a smart club would take one look at the dumpster fire going on at Madrid and be careful. Don’t waste time, cultivate alternative targets and move the fuck on when necessary.

We crucially do not have a coherent plan no matter how many times Gunnerblog blows smoke up Edu’s butt on The Athletic.

This is the worst thing, you would think that both Arteta and Edu would of been planning for this window from the beginning of the season. But it’s just typical same old Arsenal. Look at Liverpool for example, they needed a defender, identified the player they want and got it wrapped up before the window even opened. Leicester with Soumare is another example. We always seem to be the club the waits until the very end of the window to get our signings done, even though everyone and their Nan knows exactly what positions need filling before the season is even over.

If ur gonna get beat by Villa to a prospect as good as Emi…this club better have a fucking epic summer window from here. How much shittier can u get tho that you follow a dood and scout him for 2 years and and get beat for his signature…cuz u dragged ur feet…for 2 fucking years :joy::joy:

I think most teams were ā€˜watching’ him.

I’m ok with us not paying Ā£35m for Buendia.

Of course if we are interested now, I don’t see why we weren’t interested last season when he was available for Ā£20m.

But that’s enough :bergkamp2: :needcoffee:

Could fabricate some nonsense about stat DNA.

Fuck Villa, stole our best goalkeeper now beating us out to signings we really need.

Pretty disappointed to miss out on this, Buendia offers creativity, dribbling and potentially goals If he can translate it from
Lower level to EPL now.

It’s not like we’re signing Grealish so as usual it seems this pathetic club has missed a trick.

Like @BizzySignal said, the club drags its feet because they probably haven’t entertained the idea that another club would want to bid for the player.

I’m not confident in Edu to actually land them but I’m pretty sure that there will be a lot of players much better than Buendia sold for < Ā£40m this summer. Look at players close to that Ā£40m figure sold last summer - Ziyech Ā£34m, Jota Ā£41m, Sane Ā£45, Werner Ā£47m. I like Buendia but he doesn’t belong in that company.

Well I suppose time will tell.

Will be interesting to see how this transfer is looked at a season or two from now that’s for sure.

Speaking of Ziyech. Any takers for him at a low cut price or loan, after his failed season at Chelsea? @SRCJJ

Nope. Wouldn’t work out here. His future is somewhere outside of the PL.

Grealish on the way out now boys. Premier League winners 21/22 confirmed when we sign Jack

City have expressed interest. If there is a chance Villa are willing to sell there you best believe that’s where he ends up.

I wouldn’t. I always had reservations about his ability to transition from Ajax to a big club.

I would still take him, sometimes it doesn’t work out for certain players at certain clubs.
