Edu Gaspar

I really do think he’ll be gone by May. Even if Arteta stays.

The BBQ pictures, Kia running defense in the press, it all just feels like he doesn’t give a shit. I think he’ll be gone before Arteta.

Should be room to fire both.

As @Powderfinger and you and me and others like @SRCJJ have posted several times, the club is crying out for “smart” football people with experience.

Call me crazy, but IF, IF, that happened, Arsenal could experience a resurgence pretty quickly. Owner has spent plenty of money for a good manager (and DOF) to have this team challenging for the CL spots.

Tim Lewis needs to get these guys the fuck out at any cost before they cause anymore damage. Which there’s been plenty.

Yeah Arteta is seeing out his contract for sure, which incidentally expires in 2023. Might log off until then tbh

No worries man, we’ll be competitive once Aubameyang is 34 and Saka is in his peak at a whopping 21 years old with Xhaka marshalling us to victory.

Seriously though if there’s an ounce of credence in this nonsense it’s the end of us.
The legacy and mess of this set up and ownership will leave us miles behind.

Can bin any hopes of hiring someone like Conte.

This thread has suddenly become the most depressing on the forum. We’re not getting rid of these jokers for years are we :man_facepalming:t3:

No longer the hope that kills you but the reality.

Next season being competitive isn’t the end of the world, but what he’s saying is just not true. Young players surrounded by a little world class experienced icing on top is fine but this youth project cake is dry as fuck.

We haven’t signed a single player this summer that wasn’t based on some potential and future improvement. Partey is the only one in the past 2 years (well Willian I guess may have fit his criteria too before he saw how shit he was) that comes close.

It sounds like all the eggs are in us having a great summer next year, but I think the only significant contract ending would be Lacazette anyway? We also have to bank on Aubameyang still being rapid and sharp at 33. Seems a bit sketchy to me.

What kind of idiot lets a novice like Edu dictate to him like this?
Yes, you’ve guessed right, it’s Kroenke.

What other club in Europe would hire and persist with a manager, that drags them down lower than they’ve been before, to then tell the club the squad will be competitive in a few seasons?

We have a worse squad now than when Arteta and Edu arrived and have wasted around 250m million doing it.

The mismanagement by them is astonishing.
But even worse is the mismanagement by Kroenke for hiring them and, unbelievably, not sacking them after they’ve wasted around 250m in transfers, as well as showing complete incompetence in running the club, since they were hired.

Edu’s original start with Arsenal was held up because he held a forged passport.

Then we give him £500m to play with.

Going by Xhaka, the shitters get rewarded with contract extensions and more money.

I can sense the Elneny contract extension coming.

This is the kind of bullshit you hear from those scam call centers from India to loot your money by pitching all sorts of expert advice without a shroud of credibility to their name.

I’ve always felt Edu was the most culpable right now. What on earth is he thinking.

That’s a mental strategy.

This is basically the football equivalent of a Ponzi scheme. Insanity.
