Eden Hazard

Are we fonna talk about his representatives pushing him not to retire and are actively talking to teams around the world about him?

Fucking sharks, they want Eden to continue so they can get paid. Good on Hazard for knowing his body can’t do it anymore and not forcing it for some more money.

Close your eyes and think of his most memorable goal.

yup

That one vs Tottenham to bury their title chances is where my mind first takes me

But they put the pressure on, which is the closest they’re ever gonna be to a trophy.

Thought he already had. That Madrid move turned out to be very poor for him on a personal note.

Arguably the biggest flop and drop-off of all-time?

Definitely has to be the biggest in my lifetime.

Definitely has to be the biggest flop/drop off in form, in this generation for sure.

He left Chelsea at the right time though.

Should’ve stayed at the Chavs

Fraudulent as the day is long. Called it. Biggest flop ever.

350 games in 7 seasons for the Chavs, then they sell him for 100 mill or whatever and he falls off a Cliff.

Pricks.

Great player to watch and elevated the PL

Enjoy the retirment Eden

Think he should be remembered for more than his short Real Madrid stint which would have been insignificant even if he played well.

That said, it would mean celebrating his goals against us, so yeah what a flop!

Yeah, and what makes it bigger, most of the other drop-off’s had something to do with the injuries, but here it was simply because he got fat lol and didn’t care anymore.

A big one was Kaka too, but obviously the injuries played a major part.

Torres was even worse, quite shocking. Probably his earlier injuries played a part, but I still can’t explain it tbh. Was unplayable and clinical at Pool, couldn’t hit the barn’s door as soon as he had the blue shirt on him and lost that physical edge he had.

Shevchenko was similar. Came to Chelsea as one of the best players in the world, one of the best 2-3 strikers at the time and was totally mediocre and pretty much harmless at Chelsea.
He was probably the biggest drop off of them all.

Yeah, Mendieta to Lazio was pretty bad too :pires:

What might have been if he had chosen Arsenal all those years ago.

Iirc all of Chelsea, United, Arsenal and Liverpool had bids submitted (maybe even fees agreed) but he chose Chelsea. Presumably paid him and his agent the most.

Brilliant signing. Gave Chelsea his best years then sold for an absolute fortune at the perfect time.

For me in the PL era, he’s the closest to Thierry in terms of killing players over the first 5 yards. He’d leave cunts 6 feet under. Explosive.

Anyway. FUCK CHELSEA CHELSEA SHIT

I only heard of United being in for him but Ferguson (Like Wenger) was very old school and didn’t want to pay big agent fees.

He’d have played exceptionally for a couple years, won fuck all and been sold to a club that actually challenged for top honours, just like every other top player we had in the latter half of Wenger’s tenure lol

Remember that season he completely went missing? The year Leicester won the title I think it was? Was inexplicable how a top player could do that.

Would could forget

Gets his leg broken after four games, never really makes a comeback because he doesn’t care about getting fit, leaves on a free.
