He’s a game changer when fit and motivated. In his prime, he almost had Henry levels of acceleration. You simply couldn’t deal with that from a standing start. He’d destroy anybody over 5 yards and get his cross / shot / pass in.
Haven’t seen that since he left Chelsea which feels like a long time ago.

As great as he was in the PL, could tell he was coasting on his natural ability to an extent, could have been more especially numbers-wise if had that killer mentality to be the absolute best.
Still one of the very best players I’ve seen grace the league though, that’s the kind of innate talent he possessed.

It is actually ridiculous how he got his dream move and he’s relegated himself to staying at Madrid so he can a bunch of honours to his name that he didn’t really contribute to.
He’s seriously tarnishing his legacy now.
Some of us called this a mile away. He was a fraud from the jump.

I mean there’s no harm done. Ran his body into the ground and now he’s done at the highest level. He can barely move these days that’s a guy who’s body is shot

Putting the Chelsea hate aside he is one of my all time favourite players. Not so much his output but his dribbling, close controle and was out if this world.
