Eberechi Eze (10)

I mean, it wasn’t happening before he got injured though. No chance we would have let Spurs get that far into the deal if it was.

My friend, you’ve been shipping Eze to Arsenal for the past 3 months.

Go be happy, watch one of those AI videos (don’t post it here). I’ll bore you about all the details tomorrow or something.

Things like this happen, not the first time…

Except it’s the first time with us and Spurs hehe.

Idk, but I still think it’s highly possible it isn’t related to Kai, as most take it atm.

C’mon man exact same day lol

He was going Spurs if Havertz didn’t go down

Bro wtf, it’s 8.56am here. I went to bed crying that Havertz got injured and wake up to see Eze thread with a (10) on it.

Might be more related to timing for CP and ability to offload some folks.. but definitely crazy timing and speed with Havertz sitch.

Also, btw….

How did we manage to pull it off so quickly after Kai’s injury, literally HOURS after it. Talk about a quick reaction.

No way we weren’t planning this before.

crazy and to me it is net positive tbh

This is how the club can operate when it chooses to do so AKA when forced

In the end doesn’t matter but I don’t believe we’d be signing him if not for losing somoene like Havertz and also giving Trossard more money only days before

Ornstein said as much about the fee and us not wanting to go that high

We just straight up met what Palace wanted. There’s nothing complicated.

Maybe Kai’s injury pushed things a bit, additionally, but no way we didn’t have strong interest already before it and weren’t on this case.

Idk, I don’t care really in the end, I’m happy we got him, either way.

Extremely glad we finally got him.
I never agreed with anyone on this forum that said Eze is not good enough or he is not really a left winger.

We don’t need an absolute world class player - we just need a class player with productivity and that Eze has loads.
Unlike Martinelli, Eze actually can hold that ball and know what to do with it.

Our attack will finally have the balance it needed.

I don’t agree that Havertz’s injury has anything to do with it but if it does, wow blessing in disguise.

And well trained pigeons.

yup this is my take too… too much smoke and timing… guessing we laid groundwork before but would not have done this without the Kai event. I’m happy tbh. Not great to lose Kai, but if he is back in October and we have Eze for full season, i’ll take that 100x/100

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone suggest he isn’t good enough?

Great signing and all the Spurs shenanigans added amazing comedy value. The dream is he scores against them. Arsenal needed a day like today to set up the season.
